I met Greg at a "meet the candidate" session in Port Ludlow. I am deeply impressed with the work he has done in the past, his vision for the future, and his commitment to working with other others to make progress. I'm happy to endorse and support Greg's candidacy. — Doug Balli
Port Ludlow

I've been politically active for over 40 years and have worked with many levels of government officials. I have been impressed by Greg's thoughtful and reasonable approach to dealing with the issues facing Jefferson County. He listens to people and gives due consideration to their suggestions. He makes common-sense decisions based on those suggestions, his own research, and discussions with other commissioners. I strongly support Greg's reelection to the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners. Please vote for him. — David Tonkin
Irondale

While Greg Brotherton has not always supported various recommendations of the Jefferson County Planning Commission, he does make knowledgeable and well-advised decisions. I have found working with Greg extremely receptive and thoughtful. The past years the Planning Commission conducted public hearings addressing community concerns on marijuana production in rural residential zones, the Port Hadlock Sewer, shooting range requirements and housing needs. In each of these important circumstances Greg supported the recommendations of the Planning Commission which has improved the lives of Jefferson County citizens.  — Michael Nilssen
District 3, Planning Commission Member

I will be sending a Letter to the Editors of The Leader. The short of it is that Greg states his position with reasons, but is not afraid to change that position if he finds new information that supports a different answer. He is personable, prepared, willing to work hard, able to make others smile. He does his homework and can explain to others what he's learned. He should be allowed to continue his good work for the County. — Patricia Earnest
Nordland

Greg is accessible, he listens, he tries to help, he is smart, and he works hard. Those are five mighty important ingredients of what it takes to be a good servant of the people in local government. And I have never seen him act in an unkind, discourteous or dismissive way towards anybody -- despite plenty of provocation. — Dave Jurca
Port Ludlow

Greg is a hard working wonderful representative for our community. He truly listens to constituents - he doesn't take the easy way out and puts the work in above and beyond the call for our District and community in South County, District 3. Greg is one of the best examples of a small d democratic elected official - and one of the finest Democrats! Most importantly Greg works hard to listen to all constituents and stakeholders - Republicans, Independents, and Democrats and tries to build a consensus on a positive solution to our challenges. — Patricia Jones
District 3 Quilcene

I have worked with Greg on several non-profit projects over the last three (3) years. Greg always makes himself available and helps whenever he can. Greg keeps his commitments, and always follows up to make sure you are satisfied. His communication, negotiation and customer service skills are amazing. Greg will even jump in when it is not in his jurisdiction, as he wants to help the community. Greg is a real public servant, wanting to help everyone in our county. I give Greg Brotherton my full endorsement. — Deisy Bach
Port Hadlock

I have worked with Greg over the past few years since I was on the Jefferson County Local Food Systems Council and he had farm endorsements. I volunteer in the food security sector and have been consistently impressed with Greg's knowledge, compassion, balance, willingness to listen, and ability to move solutions beyond meeting rooms into the community for the many layered, independent, interdependent citizens of Jefferson County. — Kathy Ryan
Port Townsend

Greg has proven himself to be exactly the kind of commissioner needed for District 3 and the rest of the county. Every former commissioner watches their successor as they encounter both the chronic and acute situations, both locally and nationally. Greg's leadership during the Covid Crisis, his congenial relationship with staff and the other electeds, his preparation for the issues and his follow through all testify to why I once again full heartedly endorse Greg for another term as District 3 Commissioner! — Kathleen Kler
Former District 3 Jefferson County Commissioner

Greg and I, as seatmates since January 2021, share many core values but have different lived experiences and thought processes. When we are focused on a goal as part of the county team our differences afford us a more robust toolbox to approach issues and solve problems. And critically, we are not afraid to disagree with each other or bring other opinions from the community into the conversation. In my opinion this leads to more thoroughly vetted results. I ask you to join me in supporting Greg’s re-election so we can do more good work together for our county. — Heidi Eisenhour
District 2 Jefferson County Commissioner

Knowing the challenges the job entails and witnessing Greg in action I whole heartedly endorse his re-election. Greg’s work ethic, understanding of the issues, compassion, and relationships throughout Jefferson County and beyond will serve the people well. — David Sullivan

Greg shows up. He listens well and acts thoughtfully and effectively to find solutions and meet the needs of his constituents. He's passionate about the well being of our county and works diligently to help improve it. Greg's "can do" attitude coupled with integrity and "smarts" make him a great Commissioner. — Kit Kittredge
